I've booked in for a Thai Yoga massage, now what?

Thank you for booking with Boho Massage! Here is some advice about what to prepare for your treatment;

A Thai Yoga massage is fully clothed. It is best to wear something loose and comfortable, like a t shirt and pyjama/lounge trousers. Leggings are also acceptable.

Even if you have requested a Thai Yoga massage with oil, you will be only required to be topless lying on your stomach for a small duration of the treatment.

As the massage will be coming to you, I will provide the Kapok mattress, relaxing music and oils. I will need you to provide these items for the treatment;

  • 3 large clean bath sheet towels.

  • 2 pillows (one for your head and another to use to support your legs).

  • A blanket or throw. Some clients get cold due to lying down for a long period of time. A blanket can be kept over you for maximum comfort. (during the colder months the practitioner will also bring an electric blanket to help keep you warm).

  • Enough space for the kapok mattress to lie out on. This is approx 2 metres long by 1.5 metres wide. Please make sure you have enough space as Thai Yoga stretches require some room to move.

Taking a shower before and after the treatment and cleaning your living space is advised as hygiene is a must to keep health hazards at bay for both you and your practitioner.

Some clients love making a calming zen space for their treatment, setting up candles (in a safe manner away from any hazards), incense or oil diffusers to really help them relax for the next hour or 90 minutes. It's a wonderful addition that I highly recommend!
